From the New York Metropolitan area, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
Make your way to the New York State Thruway (87) North.
You can get on the Thruway North by taking the Palisades Parkway North to Exit 9West or you can cross the Tappan Zee Bridge from Westchester which is the NY State Thruway. From New Jersey you can take either Route 17 North - in Mahwah New Jersey you will see signs for the NY State Thruway North or the Garden State Parkway north until it ends. Then take the Exit for NY State Thruway towards Albany.
From Connecticut...
You can either come across the Tappan Zee Bridge or if coming from northern CT, you can take Rt 84 West across the Hudson River and follow Rt 84 into Rt. 17 West. When you get onto Rt 17 West from Rt 84, follow to Exit 115 as outlined below.
From points West, like Pennsylvania...
You can also take Rt. 84 East and connect to Rt. 17 West. Then follow the directions below once on Rt 17 West.
Continue on the New York State Thruway North ( Route 87) to exit 16 - Harriman. (This is the same exit as Woodbury Commons outlet stores) After paying toll, take Route 17 West for thirty miles to Exit 115 - Burlingham Road. Exit 115 is about 8 minutes past Middletown, NY.
At the bottom of the exit ramp there is a STOP sign. Turn Right onto the service road. Travel 1,000 feet to the next Stop sign. Turn Left onto Burlingham Rd. Travel about one mile and turn Left onto Na-Sho-Pa Road. Take Na-Sho-Pa Road about one mile to the entrance on the Left.
From New York City, the trip is no more than an hour and a half.
